Dallas Premier Commercial Photography Q&A
What can we expect as far as licensing terms for the images you create for us?
Licensing terms are only one part of the process of creating a customized quote that everyone can live with. In general, we are perfectly happy giving you unlimited usage rights for any project you hire us for. We can hammer out the details of other usage rights, photo credits, and the like based on your specific project. I don’t see this subject as a major sticking point as long as both parties are flexible and reasonable.
How many images can we expect and how much are your photos per image?
The number of images isn’t the vital statistic as far as we are concerned. The setup and execution time is more important to us than the number of photos you want. We also do not charge per image. You will receive every finished photo that is taken provided it is a photo of acceptable quality for a commercial endeavor and materially different from the other photos you are receiving (you’re not going to get 10 photos of the same product, in the same position, in the same lighting, unless for some reason that’s what you’re looking for)
Can you provide models or a set and location for us?
Yes. We’ve shot model portfolios for many many models. We can surely refer some of them to you. We can also suggest set locations and can always provide studios for use when necessary.
Can you do our commercial photo shoot at night or on the weekend?
Definitely. Often the evening or weekend is what works out best for a variety of reasons.
Do we need to provide a studio for our products?
No. We can often pick your products up and deliver them once the shoot is finished. So, you aren’t required to have your own shooting location unless the products are oversized or need to be taken on location.
Can you come to our location?
In most cases, the answer is yes. Location work isn’t an issue as long as we can make it work schedule wise.
